2ND INTERNATIONAL CERAMICS BIENNIAL BURSA 2024

EXHIBITION PARTICIPATION SPECIFICATION

This agreement has been made between the following artist (hereinafter referred to as "Artist") and Haga eARTh Connection (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer"), who wishes to participate in the Dataizm exhibition. This agreement covers issues such as the exhibition participation process, use of works and copyrights.

 

1. Application and Acceptance:

​

The artist applied to Haga eARTh Connection within the specified application process and his application was accepted. The artist has provided other information and documents requested in the application, along with works appropriate to the theme of the exhibition. The works will be exhibited Online and Offline. The artist accepts and declares that he/she is an adult and has no restrictions and has full disposal over the work.

For works to be exhibited offline:

​

• The selection committee* will decide which works will be printed and exhibited using 3D printers. Only owners of works to be printed will be informed about their exhibition.

• Local Kınık mud (red) will be used in shaping the models. No decoration or glazing will be done on the surfaces.

• Model Files submission date: until September 10th.

• The model files sent will be destroyed after the works are printed in 2 copies under the responsibility of Haga Art, in accordance with the contract to be made.

• Images of the printed works will be shared on the relevant institution and exhibition websites and social media accounts.

 

For works to be exhibited online:

Filw format of works:

​

  1. 1- 2 different rendered jpg or png images of the work, maximum 2

  2. If the same work is accepted to be exhibited, the 3D model file must first be fbx, obj or blend in order to be exhibited in the Metaverse application.

The artist declares that the works to be sent to the exhibition will comply with acceptable formats. The artist is responsible for ensuring that the works are prepared as required and presented in the specified file formats. The right to name the work belongs to the Artist.  The artist declares and accepts that the work to be sent to the exhibition is a work within the scope of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works. If there is more than one person producing the work, he accepts that all owners have written approval to participate in the exhibition and submits these written approval documents to the Organizer. Otherwise, all legal and criminal liability belongs to the applicant artist.

2. Copyrights and Permissions:

​

The artist declares that he/she owns all copyrights of the works submitted. The artist is responsible for documenting that legal permissions have been obtained in cases where he/she produces processing or compilation works by utilizing the works or materials of others. The Organizer is not responsible for any violation of the rights of another artist due to the Artist's work during the exhibition process, and legal liability belongs exclusively to the Artist. The organizer exercises its ownership rights over the work by protecting the artist's intellectual property rights.  The organizer may request separate written permission for public presentation, publication or use for commercial purposes.

The artist transfers the rights of presenting and publishing his work to the public to the organizer for 1 year / until October 22, 2025. While exercising this right, the organizer respects the moral personality of the artist and does not take any action that would harm him.

The artist consents to his work being presented to the public in this exhibition designed on the Metaverse platform, a 3D virtual reality platform, until October 22, 2025. The artist allows the use of images containing his work in all kinds of media, including visual and social media, print media and catalogs, for the purpose of promoting the exhibition in order to ensure the participation of more people in the exhibition. All financial and moral rights of the work included in the promotion belong to the Organizer.

 

3. Exhibition Preparation:

The Organizer will provide detailed information to the Artist about the preparation process for the exhibition. For the online exhibition, uploading of works, exhibition arrangements and other technical instructions will be provided to the Artist. The creation and publication of the exhibition will be provided by the Organizer. For the exhibition in real space, information about the planning of the exhibition location, the installation process and the exhibition arrangements will be conveyed to the Artist. The timetable of the exhibition is specified in Article 8 of this document, and if deemed necessary, the Organizer may make changes by notifying the artists.

4. Exhibition Rights:

​

The artist allows his works to be exhibited during the exhibition. The organizer has the right to promote, market and promote the works in the exhibition. However, the Organizer will ensure that the Artist's name is correctly stated and the works are attributed to the Artist. The organizer may hold an exhibition in real space at a time and place that the organizer deems appropriate, if possible. The organizer makes every effort to protect the security of the work uploaded to the digital platform.

5. Responsibilities and Liabilities:

​

• The organizer will make every effort to ensure the successful realization of the exhibition

• The artist is obliged to respond appropriately to requests related to the exhibition, such as providing his works on the specified dates and providing technical support and participation when necessary.

• Both parties undertake to cooperate constructively to resolve disputes.

​

6. Copyright and Financial Rights:

​

• The artist retains the copyright of the works.

• The organizer has the right to use the works during the exhibition, in the promotion of the exhibited works and for certain commercial purposes.

• The Organizer does not have the right to sell or rent the Artist's works to third parties.

​

7. Cancellation and Changes:

​

  • • The organizer has the right to cancel the exhibition with 3 days' notice or to make unilateral changes in details such as date and venue.

  • • If the Artist wishes to cancel their participation in the exhibition, they must notify the Organizer in writing. Within 3 days of written notification, the organizer removes the work from the digital environment.

This agreement is the complete agreement made and accepted between the parties. Both parties have read, understood and accepted this agreement.
